AGS Committee Meeting Minutes
18:00 Saturday 18th September 2011 in Kat's House
Attendees: Jennifer O'Donnell (President), Kat Jayawant (Treasurer), Robert Hughes (Secretary), Andy Harsent (Webmonkey),

Item One: Membership Fees
The committee voted against raising membership fees for associate members
Item Two: Freshers' Fayre
Skimble to put sign-up database on the forum for download
Another field will be added to the database for paid members
Higher quality membership cards will be looked into
The banner will be taken to the fayre, but we will decide what to do with it on the day
Jenn to bring sweets
Rob to bring larp stuff
Kat to bring tablecloth
James to bring heroclix
Jenn to be in charge of getting kent emails
Skimble to design A6 fliers with name of society, logo, slogen and website on them
Jenn to do an speech or interview on CSR advertising the society
Item Three: Pre-Intro Social
Arrows will be placed around Woolf to direct people to the correct rooms
James' trolly will be used to move boardgames into the rooms
Kat to pick up boardgames before the social and drop them off in tanglewood.
Item Four: Intro Meeting
The intro meeting will be announced in emails
People will be limited to 1 minute to talk about their games
A forum post will be made requesting advanced information on campaigns people want to run this year
Sign-up sheets for games will be made available
Intro meeting will be structured according to Jenn's forum post
Item Five: Budget
Printing costs will be researched and put on form
More boxes will be purchased for the library: 2x 35 litre really useful box and 1x 65 litre really useful box
Games will be bought at the end of the year with the remainder of the budget
The committee will vote on the budget at the next meeting
Item Six: Themed Weeks
The committee voted to have themed weeks every other week (at most)
Participation in themes will be optional
Jenn to write up themes
Item Seven: Achievements
Committee members can log in to approve achievements
Jenn to produce achievement sheets
