AGS Committee Meeting Minutes

13:00 Saturday 30th January 2010 in Keynes Seminar Room 14

Attendees: Craig Pooley (President), Hugh Attwood (Secretary), Jennifer O'Donnell (Treasurer), Dave Stibbards (Librarian), Josef Reinbold (Most Dim-witted Homo sapiens), James G (Senior Position).

Apologies: Recieved from Skimble.

Item One: GameCon

The Secretary shall be asked to write a short peice on the event for InQuire.

A forum thread shall be created to ask four (4) GM's to run games at the event. The GM's name, game and a brief description shall be asked for, with a deadline of Saturday the 6th.

Posters shall be created/compiled by the Treasurer and printed by Saturday the 6th.

Westgate Games shall be asked to run a stall in the lobby area.

The SFX president is to be asked about that society providing consoles for the Video games room.

A powerpoint shall be created, containing the details of what is happening in each room, as well as pictures of previous society events. this will be shown in the lobby area.

Sign-up sheets for each Rp shall be placed within the lobby area.

A Westgate Games voucher, Star Wars minature and a set of dice were decided to be the raffle prizes.

Fifteen pounds (£15) shall be drawn from the Union to purchase refreshments and to act as petty cash during the event.

The event shall open at 09:30, with games commencing at 10:00.

A handout shall be created for the event, containing a map of the area and summary of each room.

Item Two: Any Other Buisness

A forum thread shall be opened, stating the committee positions that members can stand for at the upcoming AGM and asking for nominations.

Skimble shall be asked to prepare the AGS questions for Geekfest.
