AGS Committee Meeting Minutes
13:00 Saturday 31st January 2009 in Keynes Seminar Room 14
Attendees: Ruth Wake (President), Kim Britnell (Treasurer), Hugh Attwood (Acting Secretary), Adam Coleman (Most Dim-witted Homo sapiens), James G (Senior Position)
Apologies: None recieved.
Item One: Library Update
Boxes have been sourced by the Librarian and Treasurer, with preparations made to purchase them. Work on sorting, updating and housing the library will begin 07th Feurary 2009.
Item Two: Geekfest
To be held by SFX Scociety this coming Tuesday. AGS has been asked to contribute ten questions to the quiz.
Item Three: AGS Con
The Keynes teaching area has been booked for 7th March to house the event. Warmachine to be run in KS16. Banners were proposed, along with a raffle, snacks and posters for the event, all to be paid for out of the budget. A proposal was put forward to change the name of the event to 'Games Con' (to create a more inviting enviroment), the motion was seconded then voted on. The proposal passed unanimously.
Item Four: Any other buisness
Adam (Most Dim-witted Homo sapiens) offers to run a GM RP workshop during AGS con. Hugh Attwood (Secretary) offers to run a Players RP workshop.
Elections for next year's committee positions scheduled for Feburary 21st.
Awards for AGS members to be given at the same meeting, nominations being proposed for the week before (14th Feb).
