Oddbod Candidate Richard Bellingham
From Kent Adventure Gaming Society Wiki
Greetings all.
I have held the position of Odd Bod No 3 for the last half-decade, which I hope in itself gives some indication of my tenacity and dedication to the Society.
Some might say it also indicates a distinct lack of what some might call "a life", but I deride the fools who would claim such a thing!
Over the last five years I have continually striven to help the Society to develop and grow, and can claim a part in many of the society's successes, both past and present.
- I co-designed the AGS logo and instituted the annual Quiz, for which I am still the organiser and Question Master.
- I have taken part in every AGSCon as one of the volunteer Games Masters and have contributed my time to every Fresher's Fayre in the last five years.
- More recently I have given Odd Bod No 3 an official purpose once more as editor of "Dragon Droppings", the Society's magazine. After several years without a single issue being produced, I have resurrected the fallen and ensured that an issue has been produced for every term of this year.
- Finally, I have demonstrated time and again that I am willing to go the extra mile to help the Society when needed, such as when I roped my housemate into helping me to create this year's membership cards when the people actually responsible for this had not done so prior to the second meeting of term.
As we go boldly into the future, I will continue to do everything I can to enhance the enjoyment of all AGS members of their society, whether I am a member of the committee or not.
However, if you elect me to the committee I will be far better placed to do this than I would be as an ordinary member, and for that reason I hope you will give me your vote.
Thanks for reading, and may your dice never betray you.
- Skimble. (AKA Richard Bellingham, incumbent Odd Bod No 3, Editor of Dragon Droppings)
