Game name: Race to Rapture

System: Fate Core
+
GM: Richard
+
Players wanted: Up to 6
+
Game blurb:
+
The group survived the Rapture and Armageddon. Demons and angels now war over the remains of the Earth and the immortal souls trapped upon it, souls which they use as currency in their games and bargains. Unable to die and trapped in a literal Hell on Earth, each of the group has heard that salvation can be found if they get to get to the corner of Church and White streets in New York at midnight on Easter Sunday. Whispers say that at this special time petitioners can plead with God for access to Paradise. This is an act of mercy offered by God to reward the damned in remembrance of his son’s resurrection.
+

We start the game at 9pm on Holy Saturday. The group’s car has just broken down for the last time on the outskirts of New York. Will they manage to get across the city and find the gateway to Heaven in time? Will they be stuck on Earth forever? Or will they meet a fate worse than death along the way?

As trade and civilisation spread across the Disc, everything flows to Ankh-Morpork - including the best-forgotten cults, half-baked theologies, and wild-eyed priesthoods of things that shouldn't be worshipped. It's at times like this that the Temple of the Small Gods needs a few good beings.

They've got you. You've been told that your team's job is to resolve theological contradictions, calm down cultists before they become crazed, and patch partial pantheons. Oh, and try not to annoy anyone too much in the process.

You reckon that you're up to the job - it's the other four team members you worry about. But hey, all you've got to do is keep a few ancient transcendent entities for trashing the Disc out of petulance. How hard can it be?

After a three day march through the Northern expanse you stand before a narrow bridge. The bridge extends out across a mist covered lake and in the centre lies the Blue Moon Tower, the stronghold of the necromancer Salomet. For weeks the necromancer has sent armies of undead, and a fearsome Griffon, to plague trade routes to Gran Soren, the nation’s capital. Duke Osric has commissioned you to infiltrate the Blue Moon Tower, find the evil wizard and put a stop to his schemes once and for all.

Expedition to the Blue Moon Tower is a Pathfinder adventure suitable for a level 3 party of 4-5 members. I’m going to keep it newbie friendly so if you’ve never played a roleplaying game before, or are a veteran of dangerous dungeons then feel free to sign up.

Having crashed your Rocketship on an unknown planet whilst on patrol you find yourself trapped on a planet ruled over by super powerful radioactive men! Can you use your wits, wiles and suitable complement of standard issue ray-guns to stop the invasion and save the planet you love!? Find out on 'The Cosmic Patrol In... March of the Radioactive Men!'

Cosmic Patrol is a rules light storytelling game taking its main inspiration from the shenanigan filled episodes of 1930s-1960s pulp sci-fi series such as Flash Gordon. The game sees your crew of patrolmen face the dangers of space in a fast paced tongue in cheek manor. Unusually for RPGs the Game Master role is shared by the entire group and everyone gets a player character too so it should be a lot of fun, so grab your hyper-phonic tractor wrench and your sub-atomic ray-gun and prepare to face off against the radioactive men!

On the dark and dangerous island of Aerei live many wild and powerful pokemon, and where there is power, there are bound to be people hoping to exploit that power for personal gain. Our adventure takes place in an abandoned casino to the west of the island, which is now a base for illegal scientific experiment by the notorious Team Umbra. Somebody needs to stop them; their thievery, their murder, their playing God. That could perhaps have been you in another life, but for now you're surely doomed to spend the rest of your life locked in a cell deep in the bowels of the Ridley.

Years ago the kindly wizard Saruman saw your potential and took you into his home. Since then you have served the white council as a messenger and enjoyed a comfortable life in the tower of Orthanc. Now, with murmurs of a rising darkness in the east, things have begun to change. Shady characters have been seen around Isengard. Birds no longer land in the gardens of Orthanc. Saruman himself has become elusive, keeping to the confines of his tower and giving you increasingly demanding tasks. It is clear to you now that there will be a difficult choice ahead. Will you continue to serve as a denizen of Orthanc as duty demands? Or will you blaze your own path in the pursuit of truth?

Blurb: Things aren't going well for John. First his wife broke up with him and now he's just woken up on a park bench in Dame Jon Gardens. He has a splitting headache and no recollection of how he got here. And just to top it all off the voices in his head just won't leave him alone. You are one of those voices.

We start the game at 9pm on Holy Saturday. The group’s car has just broken down for the last time on the outskirts of New York. Will they manage to get across the city and find the gateway to Heaven in time? Will they be stuck on Earth forever? Or will they meet a fate worse than death along the way?
